Marie’s Bohemian Green Hat - is a knitting pattern for a funky knit hat designed to be folded up at the front. This is the perfect hat for autumn, winter & spring. Wear it like here with your favorite jacket, or for example with a trench coat.

The story behind this: This model in spring green and yellow is the original model and was initially a custom knit and request from my favorite interior designer Marie Olsson Nylander, who was super satisfied and loved hers. Thus, several hats in the same design were developed, just in different combinations and brim sizes.

GOAL
Width – 24 cm
Length brim – 12 cm

Note! Gauge: 12 stitches x 17 rounds, on needle no. 7 = 10 cm
If you knit looser, go down to size 6.
If you knit tighter, go up to size 8.

It is highly recommended to knit a swatch of 15 stitches and about 5 cm in height to check this. The gauge is measured in length and height. It may seem unnecessary or perhaps boring to start with this, but the effort you put in here will ensure that you end up with a garment you can actually use. Feel free to use the test swatch to check your wool wash program for the washing machine before washing the actual garment. Remember to measure it first before washing it, so you can see any changes.😊

Tips before you start 😊 Feel free to read through the entire recipe before you begin. There are tips and links to simple video knitting instructions in the text.
