THE CALLA JACKET – A REMAKE OF LIV'S DRESS

Description

A Remake of Liv's dress, from Cosymonday, is part of the Everglow series and is a super feminine cognac-colored jacket, knitted in double mohair. Soft and comfortable to wear, and lovely for everyday use, paired with a white t-shirt and jeans, or with a summer dress.

The jacket has a feminine and body-hugging fit, cinching at the waist, with puff sleeves, and fastens with a vintage button at the waist and on the sleeve. The piped pockets and the band at the bottom of the sleeves on this model are a remake from a vintage 60s dress belonging to a good friend’s mother. Here you can find your own personal twist by using either old heirlooms you want to keep in your life, or new fabric.

The flaps in the piping can also be knitted if you prefer that.

Styling tips: Here you have the opportunity to personalize your own design by using, for example, a different yarn and changing the color. Imagine the flaps knitted with beads, or knitted in a glitter yarn, possibly with a gold yarn added to the main yarn. There are many possibilities here. Think of structural variation, for example, by using a yarn that is not mohair.
